Emphysems is a chronic respiratory disease.In this the alveoli gets damage and results in difficulty in breathing and decreased lung function.Long term emphysema and chronic bronchitis comprise of a disease called Chronoc Pulmonary Disease.The main cause of emphysema is smoking.Other than smoking pollutants and irritants also cause emphysema.Morning symptoms is the most troublesome part of the day for COPD cases.By coughing the body removes mucus and other secreations and irritants from the lungs.In case of COPD the morning difficulty is mainly due to the excess of mucus obstructing the airways..Earlier evidences show that there is an association between physical activity and morning symptoms..Morning symptoms results in limitation of life activities and work absenteeism.The two main important aim in medical management is relief of symtoms and increses of patients ability to exercise.
