Bulbourethral gland

Also called Cowper's gland .
They are pea sized glands located below the prostate gland which is part of male reproductive system.

During sexual stimulation, these glands produce an alkaline mucous-like fluid which contains glycoproteins. This fluid has mainly 3 functions.

1)Lubrication medium for urethra and tip of p-enis

2)Expels out residue of urine, mucus and dead cells through urethral meatus.

3)Neutralize acidity in the urethra
