Simple life cycle is defined as the similarity of individuals in all the stages through out the cycle. In clear contrast to organisms with simple life cycles are organisms that change morphology , habitat, and diet as they move from one stage to the next.
Complex life cycle is defined as the abrupt changes in morphology ,genetic and physiology also the behaviour .
Remember the part that simple life cycle includes one host or none but complex life cycle involves more than one to complete their life cycles.

Simple life cycle examples - most of bacteria ..
staphylococcus - sepsis, cellulitis, endocarditis etc.
Corynebacterium- diphtheria
Complex life cycle examples- some parasites .   
Falciparum malaria - malaria.
Leishmania- leishmaniasis
