  • Repitition maximum (RM) is the most weight a person can lift for a defined number of excercise movement. Where as one repetition maximum is the maximum amount of weight a person can possibly lift for one repetition.
  • For normal person to improve muscular endurance higher number of reps (12-15 )should be trained by using about 50% .
  • For a well-trained individual , using about 60-70% of 1RM with higher number of reps should be trained .
  • For an average 12 rep corresponds to 67% of 1RM.
