Endocrine signalling is done with the help of hormones and they go via the blood atream and are slow to act but once they act the action remains for a longer time . On the other hand neural signalling occurs via nerve s and action potential and is quick to happen but doesnt sustain for long . One advantage of endocrine siganlling is it helps in sustaining the effect for a long time as seasonal increase in reproductive hormones in some animals helps the animals breed and increase its progeny .
