A population in this sub Saharan has an adaptation to the makarial disease as these malarial disease is higher in this population when compared to other population.

The adaptation has a genetic cause where the RBC are abnormally shaped due to faulty copies of specific genes for O2 carrying protein hemoglobin. This provides resistance to the individual by change in confrontation and co production causing the destruction of malarial microbe's .

They get immunity against these organisms and vecume adapted to malarial disease
