Kinetochore:
It is a structure of protein which leads to the formation of chromatid at the time of cell divisoin and helps in the attachment of spindle fiber on the chromosome. When the replication of chromosomes takes place, chromatid is one of the strand that gets formed.
Centromere:
It is a kind of DNA sequence which is specialized of a chromosome and plays an important role in linking of sister chormatids. During the process of mitosis, the attachment of spindle fibers to the centromere takes place and this happens via the Kinetochore.
