Explanation: Diabetic ketoacidosis occurs when there is elevated glucose level due to high level of glucagon and low level of insulin. As a result a low level of insulin, Activation of lipolysis in adipose tissue results in release of increased amounts of free-fatty acids (FFA) into plasma, which are taken up by the liver. these excessive free fatty aids are converted into the ketone bodies.

This also inhibits the fatty acid oxidation
