Vaccination is the one of the most effective and safest way to prevent us from pathogens by producing immunity in our body.

For this , a killed or disabled pathogen(virus/bacteria) is injected in our body which cannot become active and make us harm.When it is introduced in body , the immune system responses against these antigens(Which are introduced to body) and produce antibodies which destroy these antigens.

By this process antibodies and memory cells are produced in our body and when next time , the same pathogen attacks body , these memory cells recognise them and very fastly produce antibodies against it and prevent our body from these pathogens.

As , the pathogens were earlier introduced , the time taken by immune system against these pathogens decreases and quick response prevent us from these pathogens.
