Homework Answers

Answer #1

1. Option C is true.

ii. The mucosa consists of three layers: muscularis mucosa, lamina propria and epithelium.

iii. The submucosa contains nervous tissue and blood vessels

Mucosa has three layers as mentioned above and submucosa contains nerve plexus

Statement iv appears to be correct but the inner layer is circular and the outer layer is longitudinal.

2. The correct pathway is root, trunks, division, cords. The plexus start from the spinal cord through root then it divides into trunks, then to do ision and cords.

3. It's the posterior deltoid.

This muscle is affected with this motion as wrists are neutral and no movement in the elbow the biceps branchii is not affected. Pectoralis major is a chest muscle and serratus anterior is the muscle present at the sides of the ribs has nothing to do with this motion.
