In male , 18-25% , above 25% it is obese.

In female, 25-32% , above 32% ,it is obese.

Optimal level of  Body mass index (BMI)

A BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 is ideal.

Optimal level of waist measurment.

In male , 78-94 cm.

In female, 64-80 cm.

Optimal level of waist to hip circumference.

In male , < 0.90

In females, < 0.80

Value of body mass index (BMI)

BMI= Weight in kg / (height in meter)2

In over weight = 25 - 29.9

In obsese = 30 and above
