The adrenal gland has become cancerous. As she is facing pain in the left belly side the adrenal gland over the left kidney is affected. As cancer increase the cell growth of adrenal gland and leads to a malfunction the secretion of adrenal hormones such as adrenaline, cortisol etc are increased. This created axiety and a feeling of panic as they are stress hormones. These catecholamines increases the heart rate and constricts the blood vessels and increase blood pressure.
