What would be the most optimal type of experiment to assess the effects of a knee brace on the vertical jump performance. How could the order effects be minimised? Explain your answer.

Vertical jump performing athletes mostly affected with the injuries of the anterior cruciate ligament . So,the knee braces suggested should prevent those ACL injuries and for that a knee brace should provide stability to the tibiofemoral joint and patellofemoral joint as well.

Experiment to check the optimal knee braces is like - two groups should be taken ,one with the knee braces and one with non braces. Then both the groups are asked to jump. One with the knee braces are found to perform best than the non braces one ,reason being is knee braces protect the knee ligaments from getting injured or teared mainly anterior cruciate ligament and they provide very good stability to the knee joint compared to the non braced group.
