Examples of retroperitoneal organs are adrenal gland , pancreas , uterus , colon , esophagus , kidney

Peritoneal organs : covered by peritoneum at both sides

Examples are stomach , spleen , bulb of duodenum , jejunum, ileum , sigmoid colon
