ANS-

EKG is a non- invasive procedure, is used to assess the electrical activity of heart. It consists of 12 leads. The purpose of these leads is to screen the patient for cardiac problem such as ischemia etc. lead 1 in EKG measure difference between right and left arm. Negative electrode placed on right shoulder and positive electrode placed on left shoulder and lead 2 measure the electrical difference between right arm and left leg.

Hence the above statement is FALSE.
