In this patient she had a throat infection earlier and after two weeks she has fever ,chills ,hypertension and urine has a brown colour.The infection in throat might be caused by a bacteria called group A Streptococcus .After these type of infections the antibodies developed in the body by the immune system and the bacteria that is destroyed by the antibodies can be trapped in kidneys glomerular filters .This causes inflammation and slows the filteration process by the kidneys.This makes the kidneys the process to filter the urine harder.After 10-14 days of the infection symptoms like brown urine,hypertension,fever may show up and the reason is a rare kidney disease called Post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis or PSGN.She may need medicine to bring their blood pressure down, antibiotics and a medication that increases the flow of urine.
