Stroke is the sudden death of the neurons in some area of brain due to inadequate supply of blood. It is a condition which affect the nervous system . Due to low oxygen, the neurons encounter hypoxia and they die.
Stroke is due to loss of cerebral auto regulation. It means the blood flow to nervous system receive less blood than normal. It causes liquefactive necrosis.
Symptoms of stroke depends upon the area of brain that is damaged. Symptoms of stroke include-

3. Weakness
4. Numbness or paralysis.
5. Impairment of speech
6. Emotional disturbance.
7. Loss of coordination and memory.
The main cause of stroke is thrombus formation or atherosclerotic embolism. So the management through which homeostasis is restored include Thrombolytic therapy .
