Homework Answers

Answer #1

The most relevant free energy in human physiology is the energy stored in the chemical bonds of organic molecules Like carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and ATP .This is Potential Energy.

Potential Energy-potential energy is the chemical energy stored in the covalent bonds which holds atoms together in the form of molecules.

For Example-During the process of photosynthesis,  energy present in the photons from the sun are converted into the chemical energy which are stored in chemical bonds of glucose & other organic molecules. This energy in the chemical bonds of organic molecules are the most relevant free energy in the Humans.

This chemical potential energy stored in the Chemical bonds of Organic Molecules are released when they are broken & or it undergo a chemical reaction
