Describe main differences in the way skeletal and smooth muscle contract?

Sketal muscles and cadiac muscles are different in various ways hence their difference lies in the contraction mechanism also-

1. Cardiac muscles have irregular angles in ther branches and they connect at their branches, whereas Skeletal muscles are parallel budles of cells which are arranges in regular order.

2. Cardiac muscles are smooth muscles which have longer contrations whereas Skeletal muscles are striated muscles whic have a short contrations and relaxation.

3. Cardiac muscles uses actin and myosin filaments in contraction mechanism while skeletal muscles uses tropomyosin to wrap around actin and prevent mysosinfrom it which on a signal from nervouse system releases Calcium ion.
