  • Anemia is a condition in which blood doesn't have enough red blood cells (RBC ) .
  • Anemia is caused by lack of iron ( Fe ) , protein , and vitamins include vitamin B12, folic acid (vitamin B 9) and vitamin C.
  • Iron supplements can be used for iron deficiency anemia and Vitamin B supplement is used for low vitamins level.
  • Symptoms of anemia include fatigue , skin pallor, shortness of breath, light headness , dizziness or fast heartbeat.
  • There many other minerals which causes development of  red corpuscles and to synthesis of haemoglobin include copper, zinc, magnesium, cobalt, molybdenum.
  • Iron is required for synthesis of haemoglobin.

RDA (recommended dietary allowance )

  • Vitamin B-12 — 2.4 micrograms (mcg)
  • Folate or folic acid — 400 mcg
  • Vitamin C — 75 to 90 milligrams
