1. Gastrin -
Site of release - G-cells of gastric antrum.
Action - H+ secretion by gastric parietal cells.
2. CCK - PZ ( cholecystokinin - pancreozymin )
site of release - J - cells of duodenum and jejunum.
Action - Contraction of gallbladder and relaxes sphincter of oddi.
3. Secretin -
Site of release - S- cells of duodenum.
Action - Pancreas and biliary HCO3- secretion.
4. Salivary glands -
site of release - Oral cavity.
Action - Saliva consists of amylase or ptyalin which convert the starch in to dextrins.
5. Somatostatin -
Site of release - GIT
Action - inhibit the release of GIT hormones and growth hormones.
