ANSWER: The main cause of indoor air pollution in low income countries is usage of stoves using woods, smoke from nearby places, agricultural land and household waste, usage of kerosene lamps in the house. Health consequences ranges from short term effects to long term effects. Short term effects includes eye irritation, throat irritation, watery eyes, sneezing, nose stuffiness, headache, dizziness and long term effects includes respiratory disease like asthma, lung cancer, chest pain, swelling of lungs, muscle pain, rashes, ear infections, hearing loss.
