Answer #1

Corono virus or covid 19 invsdes into the body and enter into the healthy cells.Once they enter they multiplied by itself and make copies. The spiky surface proteins of the virus binds to receptors on healthycells especially on the lungs. The viral proteins bust into cells through ACE2 receptors.Once the virus moves into the lungs or down to the respiratory tract.Compared to upper airway lower airway have more ACE2 receptors. So ithe virus is more likely to go deeper.Once it enters into the lower respiratory tract the patient may feel dyspnoea or shortness of breath and this is due to the inflammation. This leads to the infection of alveoli, where the fluid builds up in the air sacs. This causes acute respiratory distress syndrome. This causes a low oxygen level in the blood and increase the amount of carbon di oxide in the blood.
