Adipose tissue secretes the following hormones,

  1. Leptin
  2. Adiponectin
  3. Resistin

So, when is liposuction is done which causes removal of adipose tissue there will be a decrease in secretion of above three hormones. Leptin decreases appetite by stimulating the satiety centre in hypothalamus. Adiponectin levels will be increased after liposuction. Leptin and adiponectin levels are inversely related. Resistin is produced from adipose tissue increases LDL cholesterol and therefore in liposuction, it's levels also decrease.

There will be an increase in appetite and hunger because of decreased leptin secretion.
