Why is enlargement of the prostate especially problematic, given its location, anatomically?
Ans:-
Prostate :-
Prostate is a wall nuts sized gland ,that surrounds the neck of the bladder in males and releases fluid that nourishes and protects the sperms.
It became enlarged in old age and due to its enlargement it squeezes the urethra as urethra runs through the center of the prostate from bladder to the pe-nis ,it causes urethral constriction due to which it causes uncomfortable urinary system like ; blocking of urine flow and this blockage of urine flow causes bladder problem, urinary tract problems and kidney problems.
So, as prostate is located between the bladder and pen-is it causes problems as it pinches or squeezes the urethra that flows urine from bladder to penis.
