what blood vessel passes through the transvers foramen of the cervial vertebrae ?

what blood vessel passes through the transvers foramen of the cervial vertebrae ?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer : Vertebral artery & Vertebral vein

The Foramina transversarium or Transverse foramen is a foramen in each transverse process of the cervical vertebra

The structures that pass through this transverse foramen include the vertebral artery, vein and sympathetic nerves. These structures pass through the foramina of all the cervical vertebra except C7 – where the vertebral vessels passes around the vertebra, instead of through the transverse foramen.

The flow rate (F) of blood through a blood vessel describes the volume of blood that passes through the vessel per a unit of time. Flow rate is affected by physical variables like the resistance of the blood vessel (R) and the pressure gradient within the blood vessel (∆P). Which one of the following statements correctly summarizes the relationships between these variables? *Hint: F = ∆P/R Select one: a) Flow rate is equivalent to the pressure gradient multiplied by the...

An amino acid is absorbed into the blood vessel from the small intestine. If this amino acid is used by an osteoblast in the left femur to make collagen. What type of collagen is this amino acid likely used for? List the major blood vessels and organs (names of the major blood vessels and organs in a sequential order) that this amino acid pass through before it reaches the osteoblast. If this amino acid passes through the heart, please specify...
