Answer #1

Since the patient is taking medicines for the CAD,he must be taking medicines like aspirin,Beta blockers, calcium channel blockers and blood thinners etc..These medicines are mainly meant to prevent the formation of clots in the blood vessels and help the blood to flow smoothly. SInce the patient has met with an accident and is bleeding profusely the doctor cant give medicines for blood clotting since it may interfere with the medicines he is taking for CAD. Also it will be very difficuilt to manage the condition since the drugs like aspirin and calcium blockers prevent clot formation. He can give vitamin K to counter the effects of the drugs for a short while.
