The acquired myasthenia gravis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder, which interrupt the nerve impulse transmission at neuromuscular junctions of skeletal muscles, due to attack of antibodies (self immune system) on the receptors of muscle cells. Since, myasthenia gravis (MS) disorder is associated to the thymus gland (primary lymphoid organ of immune system), it's more commonly identified in younger individuals than old age people. Hence option (3) is the correct answer.
