Bundle of muscle fibers is called as “Fascicles”
(Each skeletal muscle is made up of muscle fibers, which are
arranged into muscle fibers, called as fascicles).
- connective tissue coverage around a muscle cell:
ENDOMYSIUM
(Each muscle cell or fiber is surrounded
by a muscle tissue called Endomysium)
Each skeletal muscle has 3 layers of connective tissue
called “Mysia”.
- bundle of muscle cells: PERIMYSIUM
(Each muscle fibers are arranged into bundles
called fascicles, covered by a connective tissue called as
Perimysium)
- Whole muscle: EPIMYSIUM (Each
muscle is wrapped into a sheath of dense, irregular connective
tissue called epimysium).
