Mesentery:It is peritoneal fold which attaches various abdominal organs and viscera to abdominal wall .It is a double fold of peritoneum and allows to store fat and passage of blood vessels nerves and lymphatics through it.
Falciform ligament: it is a sickle shaped flap. it attaches liver to anterior abdominal wall. it divides liver assymetrically into right and left lobe.
Greater omentum:it hangs down like an apron from greater curvature of stomach . it is a fold of visceral peritoneum.
it attaches stomach to transverse colon.
Lesser omentum: smaller in size. it attaches stomach(lesser curvature) to liver and duodenum
mesentery proper:it is peritoneal fold connecting small intestine to posterior abdominal wall.
