Answer #1

Due to left ventricular failure blood cannot be efficiently pumped into body circulation and it get to accumulate in the pulmonary veins which drains blood into left part of heart. Due to too much of pressure in pulmonary circulation fluid moves out into alveolar space which prevents normal movement of oxygen in alveoli . As there is decreases blood supply in body cause decreased oxygen supply for which body tends to breath more but fluid in alveoli prevents normal movement of air . This cause shortness of breath.
