Option last is the correct answer.

Although till now only type 1 is considered as autoimmune disease the process of redefining type 2 diabetes under autoimmune disease category is under process.

Option 1st is not correct because type 1 diabetes is insulin dependent which mean the target cells respond normally to the insulin but there is no sufficient production of insulin.

Option 2nd is not correct because gestational diabetes may considered as type 2 diabetes because production of insulin is not affected even increased during pregnancy. Placental hormone resist the insulin.

Option 3 rd is not correct because in case of type 1 diabetes the production of insulin is insufficient. Number of glut receptors are not affected.
