* Cellular respiration may occur in both aerobic and anerobic process. During aerobic process(using oxygen) undergoes three stages like glycolysis, krebs cycle and Oxidative phosphorylation. In this cellular respiration, glucose reacts with oxygen forming ATP that can be used by the cell. Carbondioxide and water are byproducts in this process.
* During anerobic respiration(when oxygen runs slow), Muscle cells undergoes glycolysis to produce ATP by lactic acid fermentation. Carbondioxide is produced as byproduct during the process. Anerobic cellular respiration mainly seen during the exercise due to insufficient supply of oxygen to muscle cells.
