DIFFERENCES
1. chemical conduction is slow whereas electrical conduction is very rapid

2.chemical conduction is more common in body

electrical conduction is rare in human

3 .neurotransmitters are release at synapse in chemical conduction but in electrical conduction there is no release of neurotransmitter the impulse directly transmitted from one neuron to other.

4. chemical signal can be amplified with help of neurotransmitter whereas it is not possible in electrical signal.

5. effect of chemical signal is of longer duration while electrical is of short duration.
6. synaptic delay is absent in electrical while present in chemical transmission.
