It also occur when some disease like when the horse lef gets injured and infection occur it can result in the destruction of digital cushion .

When this happens the elasticity of the bone of the region gets destroyed and shock absorbing will not occur . All the force on leg will be impacted on the bones and it will lead to fracture quickly
