Star A

Generally, lower is the absolute magnitude of the star, brighter it appears on the sky. The brightness of the star is basically a number and the one that has the brightest appearance starts with -1 magnitude. The negative magnitude stars are generally brighter due to their smaller size and the larger the absolute magnitude, dimmer is the star. Hence making a comparison, since star A has less absolute magnitude of 2.0 as compared to absolute magnitude of 4.5, it appears brighter
