Describe the process of primary and secondary response to immunization
The response of primary injection towards immunisation is done by injection of an inactivated vaccine in an individual without prior exposure to the antigen produces a primary antibody response. This primary response is dominated by IgM antibody initially and then followed by IgG antibody.
This is initiated by vaccine and utilises this secondary response by exposing the body to the antigens of a particular pathogen and activates the immune system without causing disease. The initial response to a vaccine is similar to that of the primary response upon first exposure to a pathogen, slow and limited.
