What is your opinion on hormone replacement therapy? Would you consider it?

Hormone replacement therapy is a treatment to relieve the symptoms of the menopause. HRT replaces hormones that are at a lower level as it approach the menopause. Women older than 60 or 65 don't automatically have to stop taking HRT and can consider continuing HRT beyond age 65 for persistent hot flashes, quality-of-life issues, or prevention of osteoporosis after appropriate evaluation and counseling of the benefits and risks of HRT.
     
   The side effects of hormone replacement therapy is

• Bloating.
• Breast swelling or tenderness.
• Headaches.
• Mood changes.
• Nausea.
• Vaginal bleeding.
