The pulse rate and blood pressure are controlled through the sympathetic and parasympathetic control pf ANS. But blood pressure and pulse rate is also affected through factors such as physical activity, emotions, stress, fear, anxiety, diurnal variations, posture.
Various electronic equipments and gadgets have been developed and available in market that help control blood pressure through biofeedback.
The biofeedback provides information about the increase pr decrease in blood pressure. The patient can then check his activity or try to control his emotions, stress and anxiety to help regulate the blood pressure.
