How do glucagon and insulin work together to maintain homeostasis? How is negative feedback involved ?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Insulin and glucagon released from the islet cell of pancreas and get released when blood sugar chnagesin blood.Due to action of insulin, pancreatic cells absorb the glucose out of the blood and lowers the blood glucose level and keep in normal range. Therefore homeostasis remains maintained and glucagon works in opposite manner to increase glucose level when they found low in blood .
