Question 5 options: The animal blood provided for the lab came from a healthy & normal individual. When considering the RBC's content, (1) Indicate the value that you obtained in the lab. (2) Indicate the reference range given for that animal's RBC's content. (3) Was your value IN or OUT of the reference range given for that animal? (4) Give one reason for your result.

The answers for this question should be filled from the values obtained from the lab experiment.

Here I will give an example by assuming some values so that it will be useful to you for corelating them when you perform the lab experiment.

1)Let us assume we have got an RBC count of 4.2 million/mm3, from that person's blood

2)Reference range:

Generally it lies in between 4 to 5 million/mm3 for females and in between 4.5 to 6 million/mm3 for males

3)No, we got the value in the reference range itself.

4) We can say that most probably the blood sample might have been a female's blood. As it was mentioned that the individual was healthy and normal and the value we got was in the reference range of females blood values.

You can take these answers as reference. For even accurate conclusions , please do provide the values you got in the experiment .
