Answer #1

Answer

Astroglia can be found in the parasympathetic nervous system --- FALSE

  • There are four types of neuroglia (supporting cells in nervous system) in the central nervous system :
    - Astrocytes / Astroglia (It helps in formation of blood brain barrier)
    - Ependymal cells
    - Oligodendocytes
    - Microglia

  • There are two types of neuroglia in the peripheral nervous system :
    - Schwann cells
    - Satellite cells

As parasympathetic nervous system is a division of peripheral nervous system, astroglia cannot be found here.
