The following group of population might be at risk of nutrient defeciency and may benefit from a muti-vitamin/mineral supplement -

a.Women of childbearing and lactating age,

b.infants and toddler,

c.obese individual,

d.critically ill individual,

e.people with low socio economical status,underweight.

I don't consume mutivitamin supplements as i don't come under any of the above categories. Scientifically, our body makes those vitamins inherently for the proper functioning of cellular system and it can be gained from the proper food which may conatin vitamins.We can receive it by consuming fruits,green vegetables,meats and sprouts.
