Human mesenchymal stem cells(MSC) are the multipotent cells which are present in the bone marrow that can replicate as undifferentiated cells and have the potential to differentiate into mesenchymal tissues

Which includes bone,cartilage,muscle tendon and fat

These stem cells could be induced to differentiate into adipocytic,chondrocytic and osteocytic lineages

Individual stem cells identified that but when expanded to colonies retained thier multi lineage potential

From MSC - myocyte,chondrocyte,adipocyte,osteoblast,vaacular smooth muscle and neurons are formed
