He said he felt fine and was ready to return to the team, but the coach and doctor wanted him to have additional tests to determine the extent of trauma to his nose. If Leroy feels ready to play, what is the concern of the doctor regarding his nose?

The symotoms that can be seen with Leroy is his nose may look crooked. Swelling, tenderness, black eyes and difficulty breathing through the nose may all be symptoms of a fracture. If the blood is entered to his nose and it will block the airway. The fractured area need to be checked and severity of the break should be assessed. The fracture may affected his eyes and makes the situation complicated if he plays and the doctor need to check is there any bleeding inside the nose may lead to blockage of the respiratory system.
