brain that receive and process sensory information. The cerebral
cortex is connected to various subcortical structures such as basal
ganglia and thalamus. The parts of cortex that receive sensory
inputs from the thalamus.
Association areas are the parts of
the cerebral cortex that receive inputs. Association areas
integrate incoming sensory information, and also connected between
sensory and motors education.
The somatosensory cortex is an
important part of the cerebral cortex in the brain that processes
sensory information.
