Answer #1

E. A, B, and C are correct.

The mitral valve is known as a bicuspid valve/left atrioventricular valve, a valve with two flaps in the heart and it is located between the left atrium and the left ventricle(A and B). The aortic valve is a valve located between the left ventricle and the aorta and it is one of the two semilunar valves of the heart and the other one is the pulmonary valve(C). The tricuspid valve/right atrioventricular valve, is located between the right atrium and the right ventricle and its function is to prevent back flow of blood from the right ventricle into the right atrium(D).
