Answer #1

1. While holding a heavy weight box much stress comes too the muscle fibre beacause the muscle fibres are stretching than its original length. As the stretch increases the muscle experience a tear.

2. While we keep the the box down the type of contraction happens is eccentric contraction. The dropping down is isometric contraction. While we keep. The box down with the weight of the box the muscle fibre stretches showing that the length of sarcomere increase. Now the contraction becomes eccentric. While we drop the box the muscle is not extended and the sarcomere length is not changed and the contraction becomes isometric.
