There are two kind of ICD codes that used mostly; ICD-9-CM (international Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification) and ICD-10-CM (International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification), but documentation of ICD-10-CM is most specific and detailed than ICD-9-CM.
