How many diaphragm in the human body?
respiratory system
The diaphragm in the nervous system is a dome shaped sheet of muscle that seperates the chest and the abdomen.it also called as a thoracic diaphragm because it is located in the thoracic cavity.
When we breathe, our diaphragm is drawn downward until it is flat.at the same time the muscle around ribs pull them up like a hoop skirt.the chest or thoracic cavity becomes deeper and larger, making more air space.
The two parts of the diaphragm are the peripheral muscular and the central aponeurotic parts. Peripheral muscular part is made up of muscle fibres that converge on the central tendon, or the central aponeurotic part, which is a thick, flat plate of dense fibres.
